Kelsey Smith Act in Hawaii

The Kelsey Smith Act is scheduled to have a hearing in the Hawaii Legislature on January 26, 2012 at 2:50 PM HAST. Hawaii State Senator Will Espero is the lead sponsor of SB 2247. The bill will be heard in the Senate Committee on Public Safety, Government Operations, and Military Affairs that Senator Espero also chairs. Co-sponsors of the bill are Senators Michelle Kidani, who is vice chair of the committee, Clarence Nishihara, Pohai Ryan, Carol Fukunaga, and Mike Gabbard.
